About the event

Metabolism is a much used term… but what does it all mean?

We exist because of our metabolism. We also, in turn, affect our own metabolism. Metabolism helps us live, process the foods we eat, exercise and cope with life.

Secrets to Your Metabolism is a holistic healthcare event covering practical ways that you can improve your health, energy, fitness and nutrition through understanding your metabolism and metabolic rate.

With an incredible line-up of speakers, you will hear from experts in the fields of health and medicine, sports medicine, nutrition and mindset coaching.

If you want to take steps to improve your health and wellbeing, this is an event not to be missed.

Mastering Stress: event overview

Our event on Mastering Stress at Albany’s Retravision Stadium on Saturday 3rd August 2024 was a great success. Here’s a little summary of the event.

The event was full of insights and take-home tips for managing and reducing the impacts of stress on our nervous systems, overall health and emotional wellbeing.

We’ve had nothing but positive feedback about the event and how coming together like this to share knowledge and holistic health advice is so helpful for us all.

Our four speakers at the mastering stress event (from left to right): Conny Wehland, Toria Macgregor, Julie Hooper and Rachael Bryden.

The talks covered:

De-stressing your nervous system – Reflexologist Toria Macgregor shared relaxation advice for soothing the nervous system and how relaxation therapies can help those experiencing burnout.

Food and mood – Registered Nutritionist and Wellness Coach Julie Hooper shared about the impacts of food on your brain and functioning, covering the foods the harm and the foods that heal.

Self-care and being present – Mindset coach Rachael Bryden covered what ‘being present’ can do for us and the benefits of addressing old traumas through timeline therapy.

Finding your calm – Naturopath Conny Wehland covered what stress is and how it affects us, plus how balanced nutrition and simple lifestyle changes, especially to improve sleep, can support us.

Here’s a selection of photos from the event.
